WSIB/ WSIAT
The Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) provides services and benefits to injured workers. To be eligible for WSIB coverage you must meet the criteria set out in the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 (WSIA). If you are covered by the WSIA, you cannot sue your employer for your injuries.
Navigating the complex policies and forms involved in a claim can be both time-consuming and frustrating. We can help you obtain the compensation you are entitled to while guiding you through the process.
The Workplace Safety & Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT) is the final level of appeal for disputes concerning WSIB matters. The WSIAT is independent of the WSIB and the decisions are final. Most employers are represented by experienced lawyers, so it is important to have the right legal representative on your side.
